I bought one of the last kits from WA3RNC ... this is a 4-Band analog QRP-Transceiver with many control knobs and switches, instead of cryptic menues.
WA3RNC delivers it in kit-form - all non-SMD-parts are well packed and the builder manual is well structured.
Here my complete QRP-/p station with the attached TinySWR-Meter.
The transceiver has enough AF-power to drive a small speaker.
First impressions
| PROs | CONs |
| No fiddling with menues | Switches do not feel sleek |
| Compact but servicable | WA3RNC decided to shutdown business due to age |
| AF output high enough to drive an external speaker | |
| Clever construction with these two stacked PCBs | |
| Well written manual | |
| Excellent prepared kit. Each build-step has the parts in its own foil tube | |
| Very effective manual AGC control | |
| High RF power up to 9W | |
| Starting at 10VDC input voltage the transceiver can deliver 5W on all bands |
